Our little rock star!

Need we say more? Xander seems to really enjoy music. He especially loves it when he is in his doorway jumper and Jason is playing the mandolin and singing to him. He looks like "Lord of the dance." He makes us laugh so much.

Growing up!

Wow! It is so hard to believe that our little guy will be 6 months old in a week. He already has his first two bottom teeth. Of course right now they are too small to get in a picture. Xander is hard at work teething on his teething bunny trying to get them through. We rarely get photos of all three of us at the same time. Xander's god-mommy spontaneously took this one for us. Thanks Cindy! We are doing great so far. Xander is rolling over. He is trying to sit up but still cannot sit alone. He has such an amazing sense of humor. He is certainly going to be the comic in the family. I fear the practical jokes that he is going to pull on me, worms and frogs anyone?

Could this be love?

What a treasure this sweet little boy is to us. We are soooo blessed to have such a little snuggle baby. He truly loves to explore faces now. He is especially fascinated by teeth and eyes. However, lately he is starting to get a little more rough in the way he plays. It is so funny to watch him. You can really see the boy in him appearing.
He is so amazed with his daddy too. It is so much fun to watch them interact. Xander just watches Jason like an awestruck little fan. Which I am sure he is his daddy's biggest fan.
He is chock-full of personality and very independent. He also doesn't hesitate to offer up his opinions whether you want them or not. It is very cute now but in about 5 more months it will be quite the challenge.

Busted!

Well with good and obvious reason we have retired the little bouncey. Xander was making a ton of new and funny sounds and when I walked in to check on him this is what I found. My little escape artist maneuvering his departure. I am not sure what he planned on doing once he hit the floor. This is yet only a small dose of what I am sure we are in for once the crawling and walking begins. Then of course the next picture I couldn't resist because he has such a look of mischief on his face. "uh-oh"
